The original hardwood floors from 1945 give the house a nice warm feeling. It's a small house but its a great vacation home. The large covered wood deck out back is perfect for cocktail hour, barbeques and just sitting and watching the birds. If it rains while you're visiting, just sit on the deck and enjoy! I'm often using my home so I keep it stocked with everything anyone might need. There's usually even fresh condiments in the refrigerator. Toiletries, towels, snorkel gear, hair dryer, spices, cleaning supplies, games, books, cds, dvds, internet... it's my home, I just rent it out when I'm not there. (I drink all the wine before I go) The master bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable queen bed. There are two twin beds in the other room. Both bathrooms have a tub/shower. All rooms have ceiling fans and ac. This house is very clean! The yard is gorgeous and flea free! If you have friends in the area, they can come check out the house before you agree to rent it. This is a very unique property for South Florida. The cottage is nestled in a half acre lot with 4 other cottages. We are a national backyard wildlife sanctuary. We have fruit trees, poinciana trees, a tulip tree, a norfolk pine, queen palms and coconut and sabal palms. There are plumbago and bromeliads all around the cottage along with bouganvilla and bird of paradise.
