The apartment is what the French call ?traversant? (running from the front of the building through to the back) so you have through air ? very important on hot days and nights.

Bedroom Two, accessed from the other side of the hallway and further along, faces east and has tall windows overlooking inner gardens. It has oak flooring and an original marble fireplace. There is a double bed and a large wardrobe with shelving.

There is a single fold-up bed with a proper mattress, which is normally stored out of the way in a cupboard, thus accommodating a fifth person. This can be utilised in the lounge, therefore creating 3 separate sleeping rooms if required.

The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, cafeti?re, electric kettle and toaster. An iron and ironing board is provided.

The bathroom has a window and is well fitted with bath/shower facility and wash hand basin. There is a washing machine, and a hairdryer is provided. The separate toilet has a window and a wash hand basin. The bathroom and toilet can be accessed at any time of the day or night without disturbing the other occupants.

Sea Meadows is a 21-acre Ocean Front estate on the 'Queen of the Gulf Islands' -- Gabriola Island. Gabriola is just a 20-minute ferry ride from Nanaimo; and once on the island, Sea Meadows is less than one mile from the ferry dock.
