    Nice Apartments - Wonderful all year round

    This very attractive Nice apartment with 2 bedrooms accommodating 2 to 6 people is in a very convenient location just 100 metres from the Old Town ( Vieux Nice ). 2 rue Papon is a traditional Nicoise house built in 1900 with a typically Nicoise entrance hall and staircase in a characteristic Nicoise street in a very central position.

    What is special is that this spacious, bright and sunny 2-bedroomed Nice apartment occupies the whole of the second floor of the building, so there are no other apartments on your level, thus giving additional privacy. Also, because the apartment is what the French call ?traversant? (running from the front of the building through to the back), you have light from the south and the north and ?through-air? ? very important on hot days and nights. The windows and balcony doors have the traditional wooden louvred shutters to keep the apartment cooler on very hot days.

    Like all our other apartments in Nice, it has been professionally renovated throughout. Every surface throughout the apartment has been changed and restored ? the floors, walls and ceilings, the kitchen area and equipment, shower room and separate toilet are all brand new, as are just about all of the furniture and fittings.

    This Nice apartment is extremely well situated being only 30 metres from the delightful 18th century Place Garibaldi, 100 metres from the corner of the Old Town (Vieux Nice).It is within a few minutes walk of the Marina (Port), beaches, the Chateau Hill and park, museums, galleries and concert halls, the Acropolis conference centre, the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, the famous Promenade des Anglais, hundreds of charming restaurants, brasseries, bistros, bars and pavement cafes, and every type of shopping you could wish for. There is a big supermarket within 50 metres.

    By taxi, bus, hire car or private car, the property is conveniently only ten minutes from Nice Airport. The apartment is ideally placed for you to enjoy Nice and all of the C?te d?Azur.

    The Nice tramway passes within 30 metres. If you want to go off and explore the rest of the French Riviera the central bus station is only150 metres away. A car is definitely not necessary - although if you arrive by car or hire a car whilst you are here, there are parking meters in the street and there is a multi-storey car park within 150 metres.

    There is an entry-phone system. This Nice apartment has marble-tiled floors throughout. The large sun-filled, south-facing living room has two comfortable sofas - one of which converts into a proper mattress bed to sleep a further two people if required ? thus giving a total sleeping capacity of six in three separate rooms, if needed. There are French doors opening to a small south-facing balcony ? ideal for taking your coffee in the morning sunshine, or a little later in the day, a glass of wine. There is the original marble fireplace, a large glass-topped dining table and dining chairs and a newly fitted ?kitchen Americaine? with four-ring electric hob, microwave/grill, fridge/freezer, electric kettle, toaster and cafetiere, and a washing machine/dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a CD/tape player/radio, a DVD should you wish to bring your favourite CDs and DVD films and a television, if you find time to watch it !

    Bedroom One has two pairs of long windows and the original marble fireplace. The large double bed is twin-linked with separate mattresses and bases and can therefore be separated to make 2 singles if you prefer. Bedroom Two has a very comfortable sofabed, with proper mattresses, which unusually, is designed to give a single bed, or two separate single beds, or you can place the two singles side by side to create a full sized double bed

    Nice Apartments - Wonderful all year round

    This is our 5-star apartment in Nice furnished throughout in the Louis XVI style with 2 double/twin bedrooms to accommodate 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 people.

    This is a gracious Übelle ?poque? apartment building with its beautiful fa?ade, balconies, traditional louvred shutters, handsome solid front doors, marble staircase, charming old wrought-iron and mahogany ?Edwardian? lift and high ceilings ? this Nice apartment would grace the very smartest Parisian street. This is a real ?town? apartment, yet is situated just 200 metres from the world-famous Promenade des Anglais and the beaches, and just 400 metres from the renowned Negresco Hotel ( the wedding cake hotel ) and the Mus?e d?Art et d?Histoire (Palais Massena) in one direction and the Mus?e des Beaux Arts at the same distance in the other direction. Within 150 metres you have La Cit? de la Buffa, the biggest covered market in the centre of Nice with over 40 stalls selling top quality fresh produce and a wide range of local specialities, and all the restaurants, caf?s and bars you could possibly want and also a large supermarket.
    All the many attractions of Nice ? the fascinating Old Town, the Marina (Port), the Chateau Hill, museums, galleries and concert halls, the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, hundreds of charming restaurants, brasseries, bars and pavement cafes, and every type of shopping you could wish for - are within easy walking distance and no fewer than 8 bus routes pass the door should you wish to go further afield.

    The apartment is ideally placed for you to enjoy Nice and all of the French Riviera. A car is definitely not required although there are parking meters in all the streets around and there is a multi-storey car park within 200 metres should you arrive by car or hire a car whilst you are here. By taxi, hire car or private car, the property is conveniently only seven minutes from Nice Airport.

    At this apartment in Nice you enter the building through massive double doors into a marble floored hall with ornate ceilings and either walk up the marble staircase or take the charming old lift to the second floor. There is an entry phone system.

    You enter this Nice apartment through tall double doors. This is a very spacious, light and sunny apartment with high ceilings and generous-sized rooms with marble-tiled floors throughout. There is a large hall with elegant double doors to one side, giving access to the large, sun-filled, south-facing lounge with a stylish dining area (some 28m? or 300 sq.ft.). There are two pairs of full length French windows - one pair has an ornate wrought-iron balustrade/balconnette facing the street, the other pair allowing you to step out on to the balcony overlooking rue Dante and giving you a good view up and down the street. It is always fascinating to observe the local Nicoises going about their daily lives.

    There is a CD/tape player/radio, DVD and a television, should you have time to watch it! All the furniture and furnishings throughout the apartment are in the Louis XVI style and there are chandeliers in every room - even the kitchen and the bathroom!

    Also from the hall, to the other side, there are again matching double doors into Bedroom One, which is again spacious and elegant. There are twin-linked beds giving you a king-size double with separate mattresses and bases which can therefore be separated to make twin beds if you prefer. Full-length windows with a wrought-iron balustrade/balconette give a view over a well-maintained ?cour? (inner courtyard). There is plenty of wardrobe space.
    Bedroom 2, also accessed from the hall and south-facing, has full-length windows and an ornate, wrought-iron balustrade/balconette. There is a very comfortable sofa bed with proper mattresses, which, unusually, is designed to give a single bed, or two separate single beds, or you can place the 2 singles side by side to create a double bed. There is again a large wardrobe.

    There are 2 fold-up beds with proper mattresses, which are normally stored out of the way, thus providing a 5th and 6th bed if required. These can be utilised in the lounge, therefore creating 3 separate sleeping rooms if needed. In addition, one of the sofas in the lounge gives you the option to convert it into a double bed, should you wish.

    Because the apartment is what the French call ?traversant? (running from the front of the building through to the back) you have light from the south and north and through-air - very important on hot days and nights. All the windows and French doors have the traditional louvred shutters to keep the apartment cooler on very hot days.

    The kitchen is typically French and with room for everyone to sit for breakfast. There is a fridge/freezer, cooker with oven and hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and caf?ti?re and washing machine, iron and ironing board.

    This Nice apartment has a large, well-fitted traditional bathroom with a proper full-size window, full-size bath with shower facility and wash hand basin. A hair dryer is provided. There is a separate toilet room with a wash hand basin. Both the toilet and the bathroom can be accessed at all times of the day or night without disturbing the other occupants.

    Like our other Nice apartments, there is also central heating, if you should ever need it. This apartment is beautifully furnished and extremely well-equipped to the same very high standard as our other apartments in Nice.

    A wonderful all year round apartment in Nice

    This Nice apartment, which accommodates 2 (or 3 or 4) very comfortably, is in a very quiet, calm and sunny position, with a balcony giving you a fabulous Mediterranean view and - very unusual for an apartment in Nice - its own private patio garden. It is situated in the best residential road on Mont Boron, sometimes described as the Beverly Hills of Nice. This is the most sought-after part of Nice, appreciated by Elton John and by many famous international personalities who choose to live here, and where the Nice estate agents themselves seem to prefer to reside !

    By taxi, hire car or private car, this apartment in Nice is conveniently only 15 minutes from Nice Airport.

    There is unrestricted and free daytime and night-time parking in the street right outside the apartments ? this is almost unique along the whole of the French Riviera and extremely important and very convenient if you are arriving by car or renting a car whilst you are here. As well, there is also free parking in our garage in a separate block should you prefer.

    This Nice apartment is in a small, modern private building of only five apartments and surrounded by mature gardens, with palm trees and other lush flora that flourish in this marvellously warm climate. Testament to this is the fact that Nice holds its Carnival of Flowers and Mardi Gras festival every year for 2 weeks in February !

    But what is especially appealing about this 2nd floor apartment is that, because the building is set into the hillside, it benefits not only from a balcony with a spectacular south-west view to the front, but unusually, it has to the side, with level access direct from the bedroom, its own delightful and totally secluded private and mature patio garden measuring approximately 10 metres by 4 metres. It has an orange tree, lemon tree, rhododendrons, lavender, etc, and is equipped with a marble-topped dining table and chairs and sun-loungers. A perfect haven for you to enjoy an al-fresco meal at any time of the day, read that book you?ve been promising yourself, or simply recline and relax.

    There is a charming living room with a dining table for four and two wide-opening doors giving you access to a full-width balcony and, day and night, a beautiful view of the Mediterranean, the Bay of Angels, the Chateau Hill, the town and the mountains, very similar to the view from our ?Le Panoramic? apartment. A perfect place to sit with your morning cup of coffee or, a little later in the day, a glass of wine and take in the wonderful view. Visitors who stayed here for nine weeks said that sitting on the balcony they felt like they were in the Royal Box. Incidentally, 350 metres along boulevard du Mont Baron, there is the most famous viewpoint of the Cote D?Azur with a large sitting area that is recognised as the point from where you have the most outstanding view of Nice, the Bay of Angels and the Mediterranean. All sight-seeing tours of the area stop here to experience the magnificent view and to allow a photo opportunity.

    There is an entry-phone and there is a large lift and stairs. This Nice apartment has marble floors throughout. There is a stylish sofa in the lounge which converts into a proper mattress bed to sleep two more if required, thus giving 2 separate sleeping rooms if needed. The dining table has plenty of space for 4. There is a CD/tape player/radio DVD player and a television, if you should have time to watch it ! The ?kitchen Americaine?, has a range of cupboards, a 4-ring hob, microwave, electric kettle, coffee-maker, toaster, fridge/freezer and a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

    The double bedroom has twin mattresses on twin bases to make 2 separate single beds if preferred. There is a large fitted wardrobe. Access to your private garden is direct from the bedroom - a lovely feature. The bathroom with a proper window has a full-size bath with shower facility, wash hand basin, vanitory unit and toilet. A hair-dryer is provided. The bathroom/toilet can be accessed at all times of the day or night without disturbing the other occupants.

    There are electrically-controlled shutters to keep the apartment cooler on very hot days and as the apartment faces in two directions there is ?through-air? - also very important on very hot days and nights. There is electric heating in each room if you should ever need it.

    There is a large, new supermarket, a bar and restaurant and other shops within 600 metres. You can walk to the beaches in fifteen minutes ? Coco Beach and Plage de la Reserve ? and the delightful Parc Vigier, the marina and the old port surrounded by a marvellous selection of charming restaurants. It is less than twenty minutes to the Chateau Hill and Park, the fascinating Old Town, the Flower Market, the Antiques Quarter, the famous Promenade des Anglais and the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains. If you prefer not to walk, there is a bus stop (Coecilia) Route 30, 100 metres away and Route 14 is 200 metres away.

    This Nice apartment is ideally placed for you to enjoy Nice and all of the Cote d?Azur.

    The apartment is extremely well furnished and equipped to the same very high standards as our other Nice apartments. Incidentally all the photographs were taken on Christmas Eve.
